3D imaging of SLNs in laparoscopic surgery

declipse®SPECT Laparoscopy showing the d-eclipse of the SLNs declipse®SPECT provides, for the first time worldwide, an intra-operative laparoscopic 3D imaging solution to image and visualize radioactively labeled tumor structures and sentinel nodes in 3D during a laparoscopic surgery. declipse®SPECT Laparoscopy allows a direct anatomical reference in the standard laparoscopic image to intraoperatively generated 3D images of the SLNs. This is useful for intuitive orientation and navigation as well as quality assurance. It enhances the SLN detection, localization and removal in endometrium and cervix cancer. Its flexible and portable design based on highly sensitive laparoscopic gamma probes and sub millimeter precise navigation technology allows visualization in order to perform image-guided resection of the sentinel lymph nodes. With the aid of declipse®SPECT Laparoscopy, radioactively marked lymph nodes can be localized with high accuracy in the OR and safely resected.
